Homemade Garlic Cheese Bread

If you haven't had this garlic bread you haven't lived. Ok, that might be a bit dramatic. I do have a flair for drama you know. It is so divine. Garlicky, cheesy, goodness. I roast the garlic in this recipe. Drizzle it with olive oil, wrap it up tight, and toss it in the oven for less than an hour. And…voila! It’s mellow, creamy, nutty—and spreadable. Instructions and pictures below.

Ingredients:

1 stick of butter, softened
1/2 cup mayonaise (not miracle whip)
1/2 head of garlic, roasted
pinch of salt
1 cup cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan
1 loaf French bread, split length wise

Heat oven to 350.

Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl with a fork. Spread on French bread halves. Bake for 20-30 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown.

Enjoy!

Cut a whole garlic head in half crosswise.

Place on a small square of foil. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Wrap foil tightly. Bake in oven at 350 for 30 minutes.

Roasted Garlic! It will be soft and buttery. Just squeeze garlic out into a large bowl.

Mix together remaining ingredients.

Spread on French bread halves.

Oh yea Baby!
