Coca Cola Baked Ham

This is my oldest daughter's favorite thing to eat.  She has requested this often over the years.  Being Southerners, we love Coca Cola.  This is great for a special occasion or any meal during the week.  Once you make a ham, you will have lots of leftovers for other recipes.  Well, as good as this tastes, maybe not! But ham sandwiches on a homemade bun are sooo good! I got a darn right sweet (pun intended) deal on a ham this week, so prepare to see some ham recipes y'all!  If you have an Ingles near you, they are on sale this week.  I serve this with mashed potatoes and fried apples.   This makes a great Easter meal.

Ingredients:

1 spiral sliced pre baked ham, I used an 8 pound ham
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 can coca cola
1 small can pineapple slices

Preheat oven to 325.

Place ham on a rack in a roasting pan.  Pour Coca Cola over ham.  Pat brown sugar on top.  Lay pineapple slices on top of ham.  Cover with foil.

Bake for 10-12 minutes per pound.  Occasionally baste the ham with the coca cola from the bottom of the pan.  Serve warm or cold, it tastes great either way!

Enjoy!
